
Label Anubha Sharma was launched on 19 November 2016 at the Asian Designer Week where it showcased its first ever collection, “Vibrant Madhubani”. Anubha Sharma, the name behind the label, had also received “NextGen Fresh Talent Award” for the same. Its next collection “Vivid Voyage” was showcased during the following season of Asian Designer Week and received a lot of appreciation too. Since then, the brand has been a part of couple of exhibitions where it displayed its ready-to-wear collection. Besides this, the label deals in bespoke merchandise which comprises of bridal wear, trousseau collection, wedding wear, party wear and daily wear.
The label believes in craft upliftment, therefore its collections are inspired by the different crafts of India. The brand wants to reach out to the masses with their products to make people aware of the existing crafts. Bringing Indian arts and crafts to the masses is Anubha Sharma’s passion which comes alive through her creations, that exhibit vibrant hues and contemporary yet ethnic designs.
Navyata by Anubha Sharma believes in sustainability and produces unique designs that appeal to the modern fashion aesthetics. Anubha Sharma, the name behind both the labels, is very passionate about sustainability in fashion, thus doesn’t believe in disposing off the big chunks of waste fabrics into the bin. Instead, she believes in creating something useful yet aesthetic out of it.
This sub-label by Anubha Sharma deals in sustainable products. and turns scrap fabrics into different fashion and lifestyle products. Under this label, the waste fabrics generated by the parent brand is upcycled into different products. The range of products that the designer label is currently dealing in includes men’s and women’s fashion accessories, fabricated jewellery and home furnishings.
